My husband John and I had been talking about starting a spiritual center ever since we moved to Washington from Sedona, Arizona. I had just received my minister’s license and was excited about sharing spiritual inspiration through community. However once we moved to Washington we got busy with life, I completed my second E-book “Narcissism, The Web of Illusion” and got busy with my Online Counseling practice.
Last year about this same time we found a building we thought could be our Spiritual Center but it was just too much work and too much money. So we let it go and continued doing what we were doing.
When I returned from a soul journey to Sedona in May, John informed me that our Landlord was putting our home on the market. We had an understanding that we would be able to rent through next year until my son graduated high school. Now we would have to find another place and we loved our home by the river. Depression is a condition that affects an absolutely large portion of our population. Those who are depressed experience a lack of life force energy and even a lack of desire to be here on the planet, living. This is because without life-force energy we really don’t feel alive!
There are many factors that bring a person to a state of depression. How one gets there isn’t as important as how one finds his or her way back out. We can feel depressed when we lose a loved one, a job, when we get sick, age or lack meaning in our lives.
Although the search for meaning and purpose is important there are some very simple things that can be done right away to help heal depression. Taking the B vitamin Niacin in large amounts can provide great relief. Also kicking out all processed food and eating a LIVE food diet is very conducive to well being. This is because a “LIVE” food diet is alive with life force energy and this is exactly what a depressed person needs. Food that has been cooked destroys enzymes and most of the nutrients. Those who are eating over fifty one percent cooked foods on a daily basis are not getting enough life-force energy from their food and will eventually experience symptoms of that lack whether it be emotional, mental or physical.
By eating a diet very high in raw fruits, vegetables, nuts and seeds, sea vegetables and superfoods you can transform your life. When you ingest life force energy in the form of food you will build a strong and vibrant body which also affects your mental and emotional outlook.
So if you want to see a change today, try changing your diet to a primarily raw living food diet. Even if you do this for two weeks or thirty days you will notice a huge difference in how you feel.
When we receive the wake-up call which has a mission to take us deeper into an experience where we are connected to God and to our true selves we often experience a death. The death of our old self; the way we used to be; the way things were must be sacrificed in order to experience what is known as a rebirth.
I like to think of a butterfly in the chrysalis, or cocoon who must give up the experience of being a caterpillar in exchange for the experience of being a butterfly. We would imagine the experience of being a butterfly to be so much more powerful because we are flying up in the sky, above it all, looking down on creation where we once used to crawl.
But in order for that caterpillar to undergo the transformation he must spend a time in the dark web of the cocoon. This is a time where all outer activity comes to a halt and there is now only the inner process of transformation. The caterpillar will never crawl again. He will never know life in the same way again. He must leave behind what was in order to have what is becoming. Read the rest of this entry »
